Little Prince Blog Hop

("All About Me" Albums for my little princes & Featured Designer post for Action Wobbles!)

Hey Hey and Good Day!  Welcome to the little Prince Blog Hop! I am so thrilled to have you visit.  I want to thank the abundantly sweet & talented Jessica Kephart for inviting me to participate.  I hope her little prince Mason had a wonderful birthday!  This is Day 2 of the hop.  Don't forget to hop again tomorrow, this is a 3 day hop! You won't want to miss what all of the crafty goodness this group of A-Ma-Zing Designers has created for the Little Princes in their lives!
There are amazing Prizes on each stop of this hop, so be sure not to miss a single one of them! You have 5 Days (Through April 5th at Midnight CST) to get through all of the stops on this Hop. We really don't want you to just rush through, comment and follow for the Prizes! Rather, we would love for you to stop in when you can, throughout the week, take your time, enjoy and learn from the projects, and comment and follow the Designers along the way!

Well, I have 2 special little princes in my life.  Dalton is 13 and Gunner is almost 11.  Believe it or not, I purchased the foundation for this project about 5 years ago!  Bazzill created the super fun coin holder seen here:

I was always going to do one for each of my kids and it just kept getting put off.  This blog hop was the perfect push to finally get them done!  Here is the first one:

Here are some closer shots:

And Project #2:

The close-ups:

I just filled each spot with the boy's personality traits, hobbies, fun facts and favorite things.  It took a while digging through all of my stash to find just the right items.  I used an Action Wobble under Dalton's i-pod, peace sign & rubix cube badges.  And, under Gunner's motorcycle, guitar & smiley face badge.  I didn't like the interior straight black, so I "painted" the insides with some making memories paints and a foam brush.

I am really pleased with how they turned out.  There are so many different ways you could do this "all about me" collage, even without the coin holder.  These will make great decor for the shelves in my kids rooms!  The "coin holders" are something the "little princes" can look back on and enjoy, even when they aren't so little anymore!  (insert tears here LOL)
I truly hope you liked these :)

*Now, BLOG CANDY...I am giving away a Northridge Media Design Book that has a $17.95 value.  All you have to do is be a follower of this blog and leave me a comment.  (If you have a favorite embellishment to use on Boy layouts, I'd love to know what it is!)

Now make sure to continue on down the line. :)  Next up is the uber talented Mandee Gillen (that's Scrappin' Madge to most)  Make sure to stop by and visit Each Designer on all 3 Days of this hop!  You have until April 5th at midnight!  (I've listed all of today's designers below)

  8. What great layouts you did for your little princes! Already a follower of your blog of course. My favorite "boy" embellishments would have to be Chipboard shapes from Echo Park, Basic Grey, and American Crafts I think. THanks for the chance to win some blog candy!
